Isabelle Turns 4!

This year's birthday party was the princess theme. "Princess Cinda" arrived to greet the birthday girl with a bouquet of flowers, apple juice and a goody bag filled with girly stuff. Little brother Neel was a big ham and kept bursting in on the girls while the princess read a story. Mommy made the princess cookies and cake. Pizza, chicken tenders, yummy samosas and fresh fruit were also served. All the children had a good time.

Disney World Trip 11/2/08 - 11/4/08

We took the kids to Disney World on November 2, 2008, which happened to fall on our 5 year wedding anniversary. We stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort and it was very nice. Having the monorail close at hand is a must with small kids. The resort is also close to the Magic Kingdom, just a 6 minute walk if you don't want to wait for park transportation. The day we arrived, we went to the Magic Kingdom and as soon as we entered the park, it started to rain. We hopped on the train to stay dry and traveled around the park. By the time we reached Mickey's Toon Town, the rain had stopped and we were able to take a ride on Goofy's Barnstormer kiddie rollercoaster. The kids didn't like it too much but they didn't cry. We made it over to Adventureland for a Dole Whip and pineapple spears before heading over to Hollywood Studios to checkout the Pixar Block Party Bash parade. It was really cute. All the kids' faves were there, including Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Mr. Potato Head, Sully and Mike. Even Frozone from "The Incredibles" was there.
